Our Story

CarolinaSTEM was founded in 2025 by a group of North Carolina students passionate about making STEM education more accessible. After seeing how many middle and high schoolers in North Carolina struggle to find free, personalized help in math and science, we decided to create a program that connects students with volunteer tutors who care about their success. Right now, we're just getting started, but our goal is simple: to make quality STEM support available to every student in NC who needs it.
